With over a decade of frontline experience—including five years as a military firefighter and eight years in UK law enforcement—my approach is grounded in real-world operations. Throughout my career, I have worked in environments where clear thinking, effective leadership, structured decision-making, and professional investigations were essential to achieving safe and successful outcomes. Drawing on this experience, I established SAFE+ International to provide practical consultancy, training, investigations, and advisory services that help organisations strengthen preparedness, improve decision-making, and manage risk with confidence. My specialist areas include critical incident leadership, Incident Command Systems (ICS), structured decision-making, workplace investigations, safeguarding, and organisational preparedness. Through practical, scenario-based training and independent advisory support, I work closely with leaders to improve communication, clarify responsibilities, and develop effective responses to complex situations. I believe that successful leadership during uncertainty is not about making perfect decisions—it is about making informed, proportionate, and defensible decisions based on the information available at the time.
